Monkey Maze - Indiranagar

Today's post is about a play area called Monkey Maze in Indiranagar. They have a branch somewhere in Marathahalli also, I know. Also, there are several other similar set-ups in Bangalore, but I have not taken my kids anywhere else as yet.

Monkey Maze is located in a house, with activity rooms for children on different floors. The ground floor has the library, and a store that retails kiddie stuff like water bottles and tiffin boxes. Also, an activity corner with board games and such.

The first floor has a tt table, as well as a room where birthday parties are conducted.
But it's the terrace that my little ones and their cousins love.
The Play Area. With its slides and tunnels and ladders and balls, ropes and nylon netting. No sharp corners since all the poles are covered with foam and rexine.

We have spent hours at Monkey Maze. You can leave your child there while you run errands; they take down your telephone number when you pay for admission. The 'akkas' or 'didis' help the kids with the different activities.

Monkey Maze also has different workshops that they conduct through the year - on weekdays, weekends and summer holidays.

While the charges are not cheap (Rs. 150 for an hour in the Play Area, library and board game center), it's definitely a place that the children will love.

RATING

Water: Yes
Food: No, but you can carry your own
Toilets: Yes
Cleanliness: 3
Fun: 4-5, depending on the kids' interest. My eldest daughter is 9, and she finds the library section OK, but all else boring!
